Dr. Sara Ehsani is driven by a profound commitment to serving others and has dedicated a substantial portion of her time to societal contributions with the overarching aim of enhancing oral health. She takes pleasure in every aspect of dentistry, particularly in fostering enduring relationships with her patients and their families.
Having obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Highest Honors (Cum Laude) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2016, Dr. Ehsani embarked on a 2-year post-doctoral specialty education program in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut (UCONN). Graduating as chief resident in 2018, she received her certificate in pediatric dentistry, showcasing her expertise in treating infants, young children, and those with special needs in both office and hospital settings. Dr. Ehsani is credentialed at Children’s Hospital of Dallas and Plano.
Board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ehsani has earned numerous honors, including the America’s Best Dentists Award, D-Magazine Best Dentists Award, DFW Mom-Approved Dentist Award, and recognition from various dental associations and societies. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Actively involved in the community and organized dentistry, Dr. Ehsani has significantly contributed as the chair of the Dallas County Dental Society Membership Development Committee, an alternate delegate to the Texas Dental Association, and a board member of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD). She is a new dentist member of the Texas Dental Association (TDA) Council on Public Health and Access to Care and American Dental Association Council on Dental Benefit Programs (CDBP). Additionally, she actively participates in the ADA's “Community Pathways to Leadership” initiative and has volunteered multiple times in Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day.
Dr. Ehsani remains dedicated in her commitment to patient care, education, research, and community service, staying current with the latest technologies in order to provide the greatest health benefits to patients. She stands out as one of the few pediatric dentists in the DFW area performing Invisalign® treatment for kids and adults. As an innovative researcher, she has published fifteen dental articles and focuses her current research on oral health literacy.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Ehsani actively engages in organized dentistry and volunteer work. Her dedication to continuous learning is reflected in her regular attendance at conferences and continuing education courses. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and indulging in reading. Dr. Ehsani, as a pediatric dentist, not only derives fulfillment from delivering quality care but also actively contributes to the dental community through her participation and continuous pursuit of knowledge.
